Where do I get a STATE Fishing license?
A North Carolina Fishng License is required for individuals 16 years of age or more. A fishing license is required to fish any public water in North Carolina. The State of North Carolina requires seperate licenses to be purchased for inland and salt water fishing. When fishing with a licensed captain or guide in saltwater no licensing is needed.
